Dental ceramics is a sub-specialty of dental technologies but it is also a material. There are different kinds of dental ceramics, but the most challenging to handle and the one that requires the most knowledge and dedication due to its artistic approach, is feldspathic porcelain.

Dental Technologist, Ceramist and Educator Engaged in the dental technologies industry since 2000. Obtained his Dental Technologies Certificate in 2001 in Spain and is a graduate from the Master Dental Ceramist Program at UCLA. Holds extensive experience on the fields of fixed prosthetics, minimally invasive ceramics and esthetics. He is a Certified Dental Technician specialized on ceramics and a member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry. He owns and manages his private studio, HLV Dental Studio, in San Pedro Garza García, Nuevo Leon, Mexico. As an educator, currently lectures and teaches private hands-on courses after being involved in education at UCLA and at UAB as the Director of the Master Dental Ceramist program.
