Minimally invasive dentistry

The philosophy of minimally invasive dentistry can be summarized as achieving the maximum result with the minimum destruction of dental structures. Saving as much enamel as possible has been clinically proven to result in a healthier and more durable environment for bonded restorations, reducing the need for aggressive treatments. Minimally invasive dentistry relies heavily on adhesive dentistry over traditional metal ceramics and cemented crowns, and favors the use of highly biocompatible and tissue-friendly materials like glass porcelains and feldspathic porcelains.
